Using active participation within the classroom will help students to become more involved and active participants inside the classroom. Using or trying different practices will motivate the students to at least try the active, as other students are enjoying the learning activities they are doing. The teacher can create ways to try these new practices by creating a spinning wheel so they can try new active participation strategies throughout the month or other cycle system that the teacher sets up for the classroom to try a new strategy. Active participation will help the teacher to create ways to present the information he or she has taught unto her class in different ways to engage their students and help them to acquire new knowledge because they are having fun learning in the classroom. …show more content…

Using both of these different strategies will help to ensure that meaningful learning is taking place for the students while they are within the classroom. Putting these strategies into action will help create an engaging class, students will be able to explore new information as they continue to acquire new knowledge and information that you are teaching. When preparing for these strategies, you must know exactly how to prepare the appropriate why to present or teach this lesson to help students to get a clear idea or point of view. Making sure that the active and instruction lines up with what was taught will help student to gain more information from the lesson that week and also you can use this to help review prior lessons that students might be tested on or quizzed on for assessment.
