What is your stance on abortion? Are you pro-life or pro-choice? Before you answer these questions, I'll be providing some targeting points and facts about this political issue. Once you’ve read my point of view, I want to see where you stand and if I assisted you on rethinking your political point of view on abortion. An abortion is a medical procedure result in the termination of a human pregnancy. In the earlier years, having an abortion was banned in 30 states in America. The given rights of a woman was stripped away from them. According to isidewith.com, “the ruling in 1973 made abortion legal in all 50 states but gave them regulatory powers over when abortions could be perform during pregnancy”. Roe V. Wade allowed women to practice their natural given right as a US citizen with an exemption. …show more content…

A woman shouldn't be told that they have to keep a child in which they don't want, can't afford or was conceived through rape. A woman should have the power to decide if they should or shouldn’t keep a child for whatever reason. The interest group strategy I would've targeted to assist me with cause is taking a grass group activities approach. Some of the tactics I would've done to grab the attention of the public to agree with my cause is by advertising in the newspapers and television to get my message across on how old woman should have full control of their body. The outcome I'll be seeking is having pro-choice for women living in all 50 states with no exceptions. The decision to have a child or abort a child should be one's personal decision. It shouldn't be something that the government has a say so on. Lobbying for this cause will force lawmakers to take a look at the movement in which we're standing for. It's forcing conversation, moreover, pressing the Supreme Court to take position in changing policies to accommodate our interests
