Abigail Monologue

To begin with Abigail and I have been bestfriends since Pre-K. We were like two peas in a pod. From the first time we encountered one another our friendship became solid. However, like in any friendships or relationships there will be times when you dont see eye to eye. I guess this was one of those times. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was late for school because it was raining cats and dogs outside and my mom isnt the best rainy driver. By time I got into class Abigail was already there, as was Becca. My heart dropped when I saw that Becca was sitting in my seat. Abigail never let anyone sit there, why Becca of all people? Every since Becca came to Leavelle she had been a brick wall between us. Everytime I tried to talk to Abby, Becca was there standing right beside her. I guess you can say I was a little jealous, okay maybe a lot jealous. The minute hand on the clock moved as slow as a snail that class period. I had to fix myself every five minutes because the chair I was forced to sit in kept on stabbing me in the side. Instead Becca was talking to the new boy, Abby was sitting at her desk alone. My teacher welcomed me back, as I made my way back to my desk. Abigail looked at me and smiled, she said she had missed me. I asked her what happened to Becca, her face turned red as she looked at me. “Becca started spreading terrible rumors”, she told me. “Even worste then before, it was my fault in the first place I shouldnt have agreed.” She apologized and hugged me, she told me she missed her bestfriend. We went back to being close maybe closer, sadly I eventually ended up moving. We stayed close friends, but also made new friends. I still talk to her about everything, we meet up sometimes. She was my first bestfriend, we always had our little aruguments. True friends overcome the biggest of obstacles, im happy to have overcame
