“A wall of fire rising” is a great story of hoping of a better life and bravely trying to make a dream come true. The story is about a small Haitian family with three people the father Guy, his wife Lili, and a seven years old son called a little Guy. Like everyone else in the village, they work in the sugarcane field from sunrise to sunset. Guy and his family live a normal life until one day Guy’s son recited a speech by Bouk-man, the former leader of independent Haiti. The speech somehow bought to Guy’s mind a long hope for a new and better life. Guy’s dream of a better life started from the suffering of poverty life.
