What makes a successful and marvelous specimen of literature? Is it the story, scenery, imagery, characters, or moral? One might look at them all for a conclusion, and one should indeed, but for the principle of this essay we will look at the preeminent three that one may select. A Raisin In The Sun starring Sean Combs is a successful specimen of literature because of the characters, scenery, and exciting story.

In A Raisin In The Sun, there is a diverseness of character personalities. Walter Lee for starters is a chauffeur for a white man, he has a temper when challenged or upset, and socializes with a crummy crowd. Ruth, Walter’s wife, is an early bird, remains at home to tend the house, and maintains a laundry service for the apartment complex they inhabit. Travis, son of Walter and Ruth, is an innocent young boy who wishes to obtain an occupation, but has been shielded from needing to do so. Beneatha, Walter’s sister, is a lackadaisical, inconsiderate, jobless, sassy, realist who bounces from hobby to hobby. Lena, mother of Walter and Beneatha, is a tenacious elderly female who is an avid Christian that works as a maid for a white family, actively shows passion for her children’s dreams, and possesses the insurance check from her husband’s eradication that may be able to materialize those fantasies into reality.

Next let us consider the vivid scenery depicted throughout this specimen of literature. Compared to other attempts at re-imagining this piece of literature none of them materialized virtually close to the number of scenes in this film. On the other hand Assegai reassures Beneatha that the money was not earned by her and therefore there is no need to mourn the loss of the money, but to take it as a sign that she needs to earn it for herself.

That is why A Raisin In The Sun starring Sean Combs is a successful piece of literature. This is because of the variety of characters, the unique and great scenery, and the exciting story of a rise, fall, and rise of dreams. Without such elements one could not hold a successful specimen of literature. If such a specimen of literature never existed, then we would not be upholding such an argument such as this. With that I conclude that to obtain a successful specimen of literature one needs marvelous and diversity of characters, vivid scenery, and an exciting story.
