Every student wishes that lunch should be a time for them to relax, eat a delicious food and spend time with their friends. However, almost every student in the school is upset with the longer lunch lines. Students are tired of standing in the lunch line for 20 minutes to get lunch, and then, they barely have any time left to eat their lunch. If the school creates additional lunch lines station, then every student could get their free time in lunch; this would solve one of the major problem students face at school and can prevent most of the fights at school.

For the majority of high school students having the option to go home for lunch or to go somewhere to eat would be the ultimate dream. High school students do not think about the dangers and worry that open campus lunch would cause for staff and parents. They do not think about the small sum of students who would spend that time doing drugs or making messes at local businesses. There would also be an amount of students who would not return, or they may be late returning to school due to traffic at fast food places. First, longer school lunches will cause classes to be shorter, resulting in less learning time. The students will not gain information quickly, and would have less time to ask teachers questions. Teachers would have to stay at school longer. Teachers already have to stay after school to grade assignments, and bring work home as well. They will have to plan lessons and grade. If they do this, they will be extremely tired and will not be attentive in class. If they are tired, they could fall asleep in class, and might not teach the best that they can. Students already having less learning time will get terrible teaching and information, and then they will not be smart. Non-intelligent students might not get into university or college, and would have to work without a degree, earning little money. Longer lunches will have an impact on teachers, and students' futures. The school district should not agree to have longer lunches, as it will be awful for students.
Dear Coquille School District, I am writing you in regards to extending the length of our lunch period. It is currently only 30 minutes long which does not give us, as students, enough time to eat lunch. Especially if you are like me, and like to go home to eat lunch with your family. In some families, the family members work long hours and they don’t necessarily get to see one another very often. If students were given enough time it is very possible that they could enjoy their lunch with family members and enjoy quality time with them..
To solve this problem, we need the cafeteria to be open more hours. If it is because of the need of workers in those other times, it is a big change that even students won't mind to work in the cafeteria to have it open for longer hours. Another idea would be to have longer hours open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Even if it is not open for the whole day, longer hours might allow more comfort ability for everyone. We know that with out food, one cannot concentrate in their studies, nor perform their work well.

Do you ever think you are rushed during lunch and not able to have a good lunch experience? I do! Here at my school we get 18 minutes of lunch (I timed it myself). Sometimes we're late to lunch and we have to clean up early, so then theres not much time to finish our lunch.
