Winston Churchill once said "Never, never, never give up" and that is precisely what he did. Winston Churchill was an incredible person, and achieved much in his life. He is also my hero, and let me explain why. Winston Churchill is my hero because of his many great achievements, such as leading the Allied Forces to victory, readying the navy for war, and serving in the military. He was a very respectable man, and is more than worthy of being a hero, or at least mine.

Winston Churchill was a very intellectual man, which has been shown throughout his life and through his achievements, and shown through what he was capable of. One reason I say this is that he wrote many books, and one of which earned a Nobel prize in literature due to the excellence of the novel. Another example of him showing this was when he foresaw the growing threat of Hitler and the Nazis to the world. The final reason I will list that shows that he was an intellectual man was when he prepared the British Navy for war for WWI and WWII, due to his knowledge of the growing threats that threatened the lives of millions. In summary, I say that Winston Churchill was very intelligent and I say this wholeheartedly, and there is no doubt in my mind that he is not due to all he did and achieved. …show more content…

One example of when he demonstrated this was when he fought for many dark years to prevent the mass genocide of a people that he himself wasn't part of, and to make sure it did not get worse. Another reason is that he joined the military for about 5 years to fight in several wars. The last reason I say this is that he fought endlessly, even when it meant risking his own life to make others better.
