Pets. You might think that it would be a good, fun idea to have them in class, but, is it really that good of an idea? While some experts say that having pets in school is helpful, some argue, however, that it is not such a good thing. I think that we should not have pets in school because it is bad for the animals, and has bad effects on students. The first reason why I think that we should not have pets in school is because it is bad for the animals. For intense, In the article, “Leave Animals out of the Classroom”, it says, “Classroom pets are often neglected during school breaks and holidays. Many suffer from missed meals, unsanitary living conditions and lack of climate control.” As a result, this is bad for the animals because most cannot go without food or water for weeks. That means that they could die from starvation or dehydration. In addition, some pets need to be in certain temperatures to survive. If there is nobody there to keep the temperature at a comfortable level, then the pet could overheat or get too cold. The article also states, “Animal’s health can also be compromised when caregivers fail to address their nutritional needs. Inadequate veterinary care also leads to failed …show more content…
Also, if they are not getting proper
Evidence shown that each year in the U.S, an estimated of 20 million animals are abused for cruel, archaic teaching exercises. There is really no reason for abusing an animal
The reason why I feel like it’s the right decision to make is because not all people like animals. Normally, people who don’t like animals don’t like to be around them, I know I like animals but I don’t like dogs jumping on me, and I sure don’t like having dog hair all on me and some other people may feel the same way as I do. Second, I don’t think that dogs should be allowed in the workplace because any little thing could go wrong, some dogs may not be used to being around a lot of people and which that can cause a problem or maybe can cause them to get violent or agitated around being around
When it comes to being a veterinarian, there will always be opposing arguments to your own thoughts. Everyone thinks that they know best for their own animals even when you were actually the one whom completed the eight and plus years of schooling as well as gave yourself around $200,000 of debt to help their animals somewhere in the near future. Of course, it is their animal and you must respect their opinions and choices whatever those may be in the end. However, you can still guide them as best as you can and try to tell them what is best for their animal. A major controversial issue with small animals, such as cats, dogs, and other small creatures, is to vaccinate or to not vaccinate. Veterinarians should have the right to state their

Keeping animals locked in cages, bored and cramped up in such a small space is an awful sight to show the children. It creates an image in the little minds of children that animals are to be treated like they don’t matter. They say Zoos are a place where children can learn about the wild, exotic animals, but in reality it doesn't teach them anything only that they are meant to be caged up, which is wrong. Also, it is really painful to see the animals bored and lonely, so why should people keep letting them do this to these beautiful creatures. Animal captivity for entertainment should end to let them go to their rightful home.
Throughout the world, wild cats, reptiles and primates live peacefully in their natural habitats. Despite this, every year more and more of these exotic animals are becoming domestic pets. Keeping exotic animals as pets is unsafe and should therefore be made illegal. They pose a risk of injury, disease and invasion of the natural environment. Some people believe that keeping a pet does not pose a risk if properly kept and trained.
First of all, animals have the right to live. They too, want to live just like any other living thing, so why should we take that away from them. They are subjected to very painful and cruel procedures. It could be before or after they are done with them. This also deals with students too! One of the main reasons animals go through this is because schools are using them to further learn about them. Does it really benefit
“As the birthrate dropped, pets came to take the place of children in some families.” I think this means that pets are basically replacing children in some people's lives. In his article, Bilger says that a man refused to come back from Europe when his son died of a brain tumor, but he had a vet flown in when his dog got cancer. He cared more about his dog than his child.

The main reason why people should accept these dogs in school, is because the Americans with Disabilities Act, ADA, is an act that includes a part where dogs who are trained to help people with disabilities, are allowed into public spaces. School is considered a public space and the ADA considers service animals as important tools for people with disabilities.
If society could imagine a place where students do not think school is a prison, they would notice students actually want to attend school every day. The answer to this problem is simply a dog in schools. Therapy dogs must be allowed in high schools to make school a better place for students and teachers. In high schools around the country, there has been two major problems, a growth of teenage suicides, and students skipping class, which results in dropping grades. On the other hand, parents and teachers fear too many students might have allergies to dogs, but to avoid that issue, the therapy dog will be a breed of dog like a goldendoodle that is non-allergenic. The solution to these problems would be to allow a therapy dog to enter schools.

Exotic animals kill and injure people each year, and are very dangerous in the wrong conditions. The animals are kept in housing that doesn’t suit them, and are kept away from the other animals in its family. They aren’t fed their natural foods, don’t have proper sleeping conditions, and don’t have enough space. Exotic animals are animals that most people think shouldn't be kept because of a few reasons: they are dangerous, they need proper housing, and they aren’t very expensive to get, but are expensive to keep.
As stressful as school is for college students, most agree that they should be allowed to have pets in their dorm rooms. When the argument comes up that pets should be allowed in the dorm room, that does not mean that students only want to be able to have a pet fish. Most colleges now only allow aquatic animals such as fish and turtles and they even have to be in a certain size aquarium tank. Many would agree that when they come back from a very stressful, hard working day at school they would like to be able to cuddle up next to their pup. It is a known fact that dogs, and other furry pets, relieve stress and anxiety, they’re fun, they brighten people’s mood, and they also teach responsibility. So the question here is, should pets be allowed
Pets are all over the world, and a part of many people's everyday lives. After seeing my grandmas dog close to death about a week ago, it reminded me of how impacted I was when I lost a pet in the past. That’s when I realized that pets leave a very impactful mark on other people's lives. Then, I remembered not everyone has had pets in their lives due to various reasons like allergies and seeing them as dangerous. This led me to my research question; Should kids have pets in their lives? Weighing the options, I can see both sides to the question at hand. I was a child who grew up with pets by my side, but I also had been greatly harmed by one. When I was just a preschooler, I was critically bit by my own dog in the face, just inches away from a fatal vein in my neck. I still have the scar to this day, yet I still surround myself with animals everyday.
