I perceive myself to be motivated to attend college because I feel it is full of multiple benefits. Knowing myself and what I want to achieve in life in my future can’t be completed without college. Every day I give a self-reminder that attending college will all be worth it when I get to make a vigorous income while doing something I have a passion for. College has and still continues to change me. It has formed a new mindset for me. Little things that I saw as invaluable or unimportant, they became critical to my life. It’s helping me focus on my ultimate goal to become an FBI agent. It is the fuel that feeds my ever-growing hunger to dance. Living by this motto will help me achieve my goal of becoming not just a professional dancer, but also an inspiration to others. My strong extracurricular background provides for a solid base, serving as a great steppingstone as I reach closer and closer to making my dream a reality.
I want to go to college for the wholesome intellectual stimulation and to get more involved with my community. College will be my last opportunity to do so before I enter the work force. At college I can be intellectually and academically challenged; I will be able to learn with friends who are as dedicated to learning and the pursuit of knowledge as I am. My goals in college are to acquire the skills that I need to lead a successful and productive life, to expand my knowledge of the world, to step out of my comfort zone, and to become more proactive.

Think about what you are doing and when you succeed what life you will have.” There are several different reasons why I could stay home, work and not go to college; I could go to work every day and make more money for the house, it’s easier, and I would be less stressed. Now, on the other hand there are many reasons why I should go to school; such as further my education, make my family proud, and make myself proud. I am attending college for several different reasons. One reason is to further my education. I hate feeling like I don’t know something, I like being the person everyone comes to for information. Also, because I want to be better prepared for my major, I want to be better then the next person with the job credentials. I want to major in Social Work and Criminology. I dream to be a counselor or an clinical service social worker. I want to help people who need someone there for them someone who can guide them or even just talk too. Another reason is because I would be the first in I would be the first in my family to go to college. I feel in some type of way I am setting an example for my parents and my brother that they too can go back to school. Lastly is simply because I love school. I love knowing more and more each day. College is not for everyone, but I will be successful by grasping the benefits, preparing for the problems, taking heed from experts, and working on strategies to be successful.
The number one thing that motivates me the most in college is the fact that I recognize this is not the end. I have to work hard to obtain where I want to be at in life. I identify that I did not want to settle with just being a high school graduate and wanted to do something additional with my life.
Everyone has their own reasons for wanting a college education. Popular reasons for attending college include being able to obtain a better paying job, increase future earning potential, gain training for a specific career, and learning more about a specific topic of interest. If there is anything in my life that I would regret it would be not pursuing my college education. As we get older life happens and the list of things we wish we could have done gets longer. Knowing that it is never too late to accomplish my goals is strong motivation to shorten the list of should haves. Obtaining a college education is important to me because I will have a strong sense of accomplishment for setting a goal that is important to me and seeing it through to the end. I also enjoy challenges and feel inspired by the endless possibilities for my future.
My purpose and goals in attending college is to make something of my life. It is a good thing. No one wants to be a nobody. But sometimes it takes time in order for one to realize this. & nbsp; Upon graduation from high school, I, like the majority of others high school graduates, had no clue what direction my life was heading or even what I wanted to become.
College education is of the utmost importance to me, especially when competing with people in my age group. A college education is also one of the most costly obligations that one must fulfill to gain success. In my academic career, I have gained many experiences that I may not have been able to experience had I not attended a post-secondary education. A college education has never been an option for me; it was always instilled in my brain as an adolescent as a top priority. In my youth I was certain of my goals and aspirations, the person that I wanted to become, and where I see myself in the future.
My primary reason for going to college is to have a higher chance for a more fulfilling future. I am getting my degree to be able to have a career in something I’m truly interested in, so I can have a job I won’t get tired of attending every day. Working minimum wage with long hours just to pay the rent isn’t the kind of life I look forward too. Just the thought of being successful by doing something I love is enough motivation to continue going to school and pursuing my degree; not many people get to say that they’ve accomplished that. Getting this degree will not only prepare me for my future job, but I will be qualified to get one as soon as I graduate.
College instills attitudes, skills and other characteristics that make college graduates different from those who do not go on to college. It will help the student develop skills specific to their career path and crucial for future job success
Attending college has helped me see the right benefits that will help me achieve my ultimate dream goals. First of all, I want to be able to learn how to relate to different cultures, ethnicities, and personalities, and also be able to understand different backgrounds, the way people from diverse culture think and act and their lifestyles; In addition, I want to learn how to adapt to new situations including dealing with responsibilities such as using Blackboard and making sure that all my assignments are completed and submitted on time. Furthermore, I will have to learn how to adapt to being an adult and taking care of my own needs.
College is a very important thing. If you go to college you will most likely get better pay in your career. Also, with a college degree, you have more opportunities. I believe that everyone should go to college. If you don’t go to college and just go into some job and that fails then you have no backup plan. A college graduate is more likely to be offered employment than another who didn’t attend college, if you have a college degree you will make more money in your lifetime than someone who doesn’t have a degree, if you are considering having children having a college degree is very beneficial to them, you have a higher chance of having better health yourself, college is very beneficial, and if you go to college you will have a better social
People have very different reasons on why going to college and getting an education is important for them. Some people go to college because that is what is expected of them, and others go because they have nothing else better to do. However, I am interested in going to college and obtaining a good education because it will benefit my family, my country, and me.
Ever since I can remember I've been excited for the day that I would be able to go to Maine South. I knew how great of a school it was and how fortunate I am that one day I could call this school mine. There’s so many clubs and sports to join and new classes I would want to take. Now that I am lucky enough to be here I want to take full advantage of everything possible. My goal is to flourish here at Maine south and I am positive that I will. Everyone hopes to have an impact on someone, and I am definetly one person who does. I love knowing that joining the PAC means that I can be a representative of the students here and have the ability to make the school a more positive environment for everyone here. I believe that these four years in a person’s life can have a lasting affect on them and I hope that my influence on the school will help people to grow into a great student, friend and citizen.
When I was little I was always looking forward to the day I hit High School. Most kids dream of what they want to be and where they would love to go to college, but would change as they get older. That is not the case for me. Ever since I was little, I have always dreamed of going to work for the government and go to Miami Oxford for college. To this day my dreams have never changed.
So far, the college experience has made me a changed person. College changed me into a better person on many occasions. I have learned to be more responsible, when it comes down to getting work done. In college you must be responsible. I have also changed my attitude. Moving from high school to college is a big step; if you don’t change your ways for the better then you might not be successful in college.
