Why I Want To Attend A Biomedical Engineering Degree

I never wanted to go to the University of Wisconsin. My father went here, hence, I resolved to not attend this university. I never wanted to go here until I visited and conducted research. Until now, this school wasn’t even remotely on my radar. Until now, I thought I would go to RPI or Northwestern. Even though those two schools are still being considered, I have decided that the University of Wisconsin at Madison is my first choice. I want to attend this university to get a degree in a medical field. I never had a passion for dealing with general surgeries that were depicted on television and as a result, I, once again, took another stab at research for a career I would be interested in. I found a remedy to my inquiry. Biomedical engineering is the perfect career in my eyes, especially the component associated with prosthetics. While in my early high school career, I had a persistent desire to understand how prosthetics worked. As a consequence, I typed into the search engine, “prosthetics,” and viewed every link on the results. I had set my goals. Four years later, I have been trying my hardest to achieve high grades and therefore, a high GPA. That means that this university is better than ninety percent of the nation’s colleges and universities. As a result of these findings, I value the top of the line education. I used to go to a small school of only 200 students kindergarten to senior year. I transferred my junior year to the Maine School of Science and Mathematics(MSSM). As the name suggests, the school is STEM based and has given me an exponential amount of opportunities.The education that I received from the MSSM has given me a yearning for more and the university offers that(plus it is surrounded with great views of the surrounding
