I would not recommend reading the novel The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn in class. The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is about a young boy named Huck and his friend Jim. The novel is based in the time period of right before the civil war of America broke out. Jim is a runaway slave in the novel.You get to read about Huck and Jim's adventure on the river. My reasoning to why the novel should not be read in schools are the language, the themes, and the comprehension level. The language in the novel is one reason it should not be read in schools.
