The Revolutionary War between America and Britain placed a lot of difficulties on both sides, particularly the American colonies. America was the underdog of the war and no one expected them to win, but yet, despite all of their challenges they won the war. America didn't have a regular army and strong navy, unlike the Britain, who had one of the strongest armies in the world. Comparing America to the British is like comparing the emperor to a peasant. Furthermore, America's weapons and ammunitions were in short supply, and to make matters worse, not all Americans supported the struggle for independence. However, in spite of these things, America managed to win. American colonists got over the challenges thrown at them and won the Revolutionary War. This meant that they didn't have as many fighters. Furthermore, the people who didn't support America created riots. They would cause riots in the street, protesting against the struggle for independence, trying to persuade other colonists to help them stop the war. However, there was also people that didn't support America or Britain. In fact, they were neutral on the whole situation. If more people supported America's struggle for freedom they would have won faster, easier and they wouldn't have had so many challenges. As you can see, America had many difficult challenges, but yet despite it all, they still won the war. Furthermore, Britain had the upper hand at everything. Britain had better armies, more weapons and ammunitions and they had people living in America that still supported them. Moreover, the odds of America winning the war was extremely slim, but yet they still won. No one expected America to win, certainly not the British, who treated the whole thing as a joke, but America had a lot of spirit and spunk and Britain soon recognized that.
