Have you ever seen someone in need and immediately seek to aid them in any way possible? Since I developed the sense of empathy, helping others is all I have ever wanted to do. I find assisting others as a rewarding activity; whether it is guiding them to understand a situation in their life, or holding the door open. I tend to care more for others than my well-being. Often my mother tells me to not worry so much about others and focus on my own problems, but it is what I enjoy doing. I aspire to further my education so I can aid people on another level, their emotional level to better their lives. No plan is concrete; nothing ever turns out exactly the way we want it. There are times when there are millions of things piled upon us. People in general stress too much. It is absolutely normal to stress from time to time; it is not normal to become sick or mentally unstable due to daily stress. Stress management should be learned as a child or young teen. I believe we all see ourselves so highly, that we are afraid of being judged if we must ask for help. I strive to be a person people can easily approach and feel comfortable asking for help. Emotions are a part of being human; how we react to these emotions makes us who we are. I avoided counseling because I did not see myself in a desperate need for help. I often felt alone in a room full of individuals and unnoticed at my jobs. It was not until my last year of college did I fully understand that how I felt was not normal. Once I was getting the help I needed, I discovered how to accept who I am and strive to better myself. My counselor has assisted me in endless ways and I want to do the same for others. I want to be there when someone is feeling alone to ensure them that they are abandoned. I want to help others love themselves the way we are supposed
