What Does Cultural Appropriation

I think cultural appropriation is not harmful because people should be able to express what they like and wear especially if they aren't trying to be offensive. Cultural appropriation is expressed and shown through many ways in the world really offensive and not offensive. In our society there are many cultural values that are shared throughout the country. Some families combine two different cultures. Therefor sharing and having items from another culture are not harmful in these situations.

One reason cultural appropriation is not harmful is because america has so many diverse cultures that we already share things from other cultures. “When in japan I saw teeenagers playng baseball and wearing american style jackets.” This means you should not be culturally appropriating when they are doing what they like to do. Another example, some latin american holidays like cinco de mayo and day of the dead, people of other cultures and races come together and celebrate.
