To start, Romeo and Juliet play stereo typical characters in the play “Romeo and Juliet”. They are both at a very young age, around fourteen or fifteen. At this age, you are new to love and at this age you’ll find someone you’ll like a lot. You are more than likely going to fall head over heels for that person, you’d do anything for that person. In Romeo and Juliet’s case it is death. These two characters make the theme of “Romeo and Juliet” because they eventually commit suicide for the reason of one cannot live without the other. This act plays along with the perspective of young love. Romeo admits to rather die than live without her love in this line; “My life were better ended by their hate; than death prorogued, wanting of thy love.”
