Even though there are many arguments about rather or not it is excelled for people to play on sport teams, there are some superior and some defective things about this. Some think there are too many fights, and others think it takes teamwork to come out that. There are many bickering parents on this topic, and all of them have different opinions. First and foremost, being on a sports team can draw you closer to some people you never talk to. It can also create friendships and concoct new bonding moments for the players. By being a part of a team, the teammates are constantly around each other. Rather it be practice or ballgames, you are steadily surrounded by teammates. Of course, most already have peers on the sports team, but being around
Some people don’t know why schools are trying to drop interscholastic sports. Some schools are trying to get rid of the sports that are going on for the district because of the cost to cover the injuries for the players or the cost of the equipment. Although people say that the equipment for school events like football pads, football cleats and basketball things. If the price goes down on the equipment schools would probably buy a lot of the equipment so they don’t have to buy it so they have extra material for events if something breaks or gets ruined. Among the cost of the equipment school districts would possibly use the same equipment.
There are many things that these athletes deserve to have and seems only right for them to have most of them. Anything they can get will be great progress. All of these options could work, but they will all take time. There are positives and negatives to everyone. The one thing each athlete needs is to feel secure if they get injured while playing the sport they love. They need to feel that since they went all out for their sport and their school has their back and will honor them for their hard work and not let them suffer with medical bills or losing a scholarship. An athlete is a one of a kind person so why shouldn’t we treat them like
Participating in a sport at an early age can be essential to the overall growth process during a child’s upbringing. Whether the participation is through some sort of organized league or just getting together amongst friends and playing, the lessons learned from this can help teach these kids and provide a positive message to them as they develop. There is a certain point, however, when organized sports can hinder progress, which is when adults get too involved and forget about the underlying reason to why they are helping. While adult involvement is necessary, adult involvement can sometimes send the wrong message to children when they try to make participation become more than just about fun and learning. According to Coakley (2009), “organized sports are worth the effort put forth by adults, as long as they do what is in the best interest of their children and put that thought ahead of their own agenda” (Coakley, p. 151). This is a valid argument because once adults put themselves in front of the children and their values, it needs to be re-evaluated as to why they first got involved in the beginning. Partaking in organized sport and activity from a young age can be beneficial to the overall development of children, as long as decisions actions are made in the best interest of the children and not stemming from ulterior motives of adults.
Why are boys and girls not on the same sports team? They should be! Just because they are a different gender does not mean they can’t be on the same team. They can have all the same skill level, they just need to try hard enough.
This is crucial because, the team itself becomes each of the player’s supporters. In such a demanding game it would be extremely difficult to be just an individual. Not only is being a part of the team important in the game but also in life. Learning how to work with other members of a team is something that can be carried over into the work field and all areas of life. Many of these teams are formed starting at very young ages. This is becoming more and more popular around the US. Youth development provides community and confidence at an early age. As kids grow older, the teams become more serious which takes people from many different cities and even states and puts them on one team. Eventually leading to people from all different countries joining one team
Being a college athlete requires, year-round dedication. In order to be a college athlete, one must be willing to not only put time and effort in on and off the field, but in the classroom as well. Student athletes attend between twelve and twenty hours of class each week, and they are required to put in much time with practice, daily and games whenever they are held. College athletes can put in around twenty to sixty hours of practice a week, even during the off-season. After sports seasons begin, almost all of a college athlete’s time is spent dedicated to their sport, while somehow trying to maintain time to study, eat, sleep, and stay healthy. Arguments have gone on for many years about whether or not college students should be added to
Being involved in all activities that I have been in, I have got to meet many people. Some of my earliest of my friends that I met through gymnastics are still my good friends. I also have former teammates that are from neighboring towns that I still keep in contact with. Sports give you the opportunity to be introduced to so many different types of people. Being apart of a team gives you and your fellow teammates a special bond. I know I can always count on them to have my back and cheer me on, whether I am having a great day or a terrible day. We are so close that I would consider more of a family than a team. The feeling of being apart of something like that is irreplaceable. Learning to get along with all those people can be difficult at times. Having learned to work with groups of people at young age made my life easier now. In school and in the
Smoking limits an athlete’s performance. Smoking decreses lung function and decreases stamina. Being part of a sports team can lead to better descion making, because being on a team makes teens feel responsible for their actions. They also learn that their actions impact the rest of their team’s performance, and others around them. Participation also provides more comfortable situations to talk, for example on the ride to a game.

Some kids are being pushed into playing sports and some kids don't want to play sports. Every kid has a passion and when parents say that you are going to play sports they can crush you dream on what you want to be and what you want to do.
When being on a team it is a great way to make new friends. When you are not an athlete you can still make friends but sometimes it can be harder, when on a team you learn to work together and you learn about each other. While not on a team it takes more time to learn about each other. People have always found a way to make friends no matter what. Spectators can always judge others that have more going on in their lives. People who are on the side of the court or field always have dreamed that they could be out there or wish they could go back in time and be out there.
Participating in team sports influences a young person’s future by building his/her awareness of team working and cooperation, responsibility and by helping him/her make new friends.
Boys and girls should not be on the same team for many reasons. The most important in my opinion is that they don't want to be on the same team. Many times when there are boys and girls on the same team, nobody gets to play very much because everyone has to play the same amount of time. That is only one reason why they should not be on the same team but I hope that this essay has changed your mind and that you are ready to go out and make separate teams for boys and
The benefits of sports range from physical, mental, and social. Exercise keeps people fit, develops healthy muscle tone, and reduces heart and lung problems (Oak, Manali). Sports studies have shown that “youth are motivated and engaged in ways that do not happen regularly in any other parts of their lives. Their experience of sports stands out from nearly all other activities, including socializing and schoolwork, in providing enjoyment where they are exerting concerted effort toward a goal” (Larson, Reed, and Sean Seepersad). People who play sports bond over a common interest. This opens up children to meeting new kids and socializing with many more. In Kindergarten, I played baseball. Even though I did not truly understand all the mechanics of the game, I met new friends and began to develop motor skills. This was very useful starting at an early age and pushed me to stay active throughout my life.
