The Animated Man: A Life of Walt Disney One of the most famous entrepreneurs of the world is a man named Walt Disney. Disney is quoted saying, “ In the twenty years I have spent in this business, I have weathered many storm. It has been far from easy sailing. It has required a great deal of hard work, struggle, determination, confidence, faith, and above all unselfishness. Walt's parent Elias and Flora Disney had five children; Herbert, Raymond, Roy, Walter, and Ruth. The Disney family were all hard workers with farm chores and running a family paper route. Walt Disney received his entrepreneur attitude from his father who was always finding new business ventures. During his teenage years Walt began drawing and studied art. World War I changed many lives and Walt's brother Roy was serving in the military. Walt was able to see the homecoming of his brother and other soldier and it inspired him to join in the effort.
