What is pornography? And why is it in such demand? Pictures, movies, internet, ext. showing or describing people naked, having sex, or doing any explicit things to cause sexual excitement, is pornography. There are many reasons, why pornography is in demand. Pornography is used for arousal, pleasure, training, prevention. Everyone who chooses to engage in pornography, has there own reasons, as to why. Utilitarianism is an ethical issue of pornography. Utilitarianism; A natural way to see whether an act is the right thing to do (or the wrong thing to do) is to look at its results, or consequences. Utilitarianism argues that, given a set of choices, the act we should choose is that which produces the best results for the greatest number affected by that choice. (1.6 Classical theories; Kurt Mosser.) Is it wrong to portray kids in pornography? Some people who produce pornography, use People who look under age. Some People, would argue this to be wrong. Others would argue, that they are not under age, so it is right. People who watch child pornography say they were just curious, but most people believe that, that is what they want or like to do. Essentially, someone who approaches sexuality as a matter of utility begins to see people as objects to be used. There are many producers of porn, who are sexually violating these women on camera, and selling it.
