Trust is believing someone or something is reliable, honest, and effective. In any relationship the people in it need to have trust, so they can be assured that they can share anything with the other person. The movie from 1990 Goodfellas by Martin Scorsese is an example of people having to trust one another. The movie keeps me interested because it keeps you wondering who’s going to be next to be killed even though I have watched it multiple times. If the mob has a problem with you they will deal with you by killing you or your family on easier instances they’ll simply make you disappear. They don’t care if you have been loyal if they lose your trust. Always watch what you say to people because that could ruin the trust you could have. In …show more content…

Some people could be almost to the top, but when they were thought they couldn’t be trusted they were whacked. Morrie was a businessman in the wig business and when he needed money or favors he would go to the mob, but Morrie was known of talking a lot and not keeping his mouth shut. This would soon be the cause of the death of him. Vinny didn’t trust him because he spoke to much and he knew he would have to get rid of him, so he could cover any pieces of evidence that could get back to him. Morrie was then going to be taken to a coffee outing but then was killed in front seat of a car because they needed to get rid of him. Morrie had a little bit of an advantage because he was dealing business to them, but when he was no longer needed he was taken
Money, murder, power, and loyalty, the epitome and basic essentials of any Mafia movie. Initially, when watching two of the most popular titles in this genre, Goodfellas and The Godfather, they may have similar themes, but in all truth, they are on completely opposite ends of the spectrum. While Goodfellas welcomes you to the family with a friendly smile and a voice-over, The Godfather makes you stand astray and watch in silence as an outsider.
Trust is the one thing in this world that lots of people desire. Who wants to have any type of relationship without trust? It is not something that should be automatically given though, trust has to be earned. People should not automatically trust just because they know them or have been knowing them for a while.
Trust is defined as the reliance on the integrity, strength, ability or surety of a person or thing. To break ones trust is to lose their confidence in the person or thing. Trust can be broken with a single, unreliable action and is often challenging and difficult to win back. In the case of the one whose trust was broken, it is a difficult, jarring and abrupt change of reality to discover the betrayal and loss of trust in someone who they once relied upon . In William Shakespeare 's play entitled Hamlet, the protagonist Hamlet is unable to take swift revenge on his father 's murderer. This is due to the fact that Hamlet has become distrustful of the most important people in his life and so this sparks a question in those around him but also
Trust. Trust is, at the core, what truly connects humans. A connection between people can be attributed to almost anything, but nearly all of these things can be traced back to trust. Trust is extremely hard to build, and it is so much easier to break. Once broken, the process required to rebuild it takes immense effort and attention. The lack of determination to rebuild broken trust is what ultimately drives people, however close, apart. Trust is the defining factor in what makes or breaks the relationship between two people, whether it be a friendship, business relationship, or romantic.
What is trust? According to Merriam-Webster’s Online Dictionary, trust is an assumed reliance or the character, ability, and strength of someone or something. My definition of trust is someone who can do something without being checked up on or being able to depend on someone. The focus of this essay will be trust. I will go in depth on trust at home, school and trust in general. Follow me on this journey as I explain why trust is needed and how it betters your character. Let’s begin…
What does trust mean to you? Do you trust everyone close to you, and the people you deal with day to day? The definition of Trust is “firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something”. The definition of Trustworthiness is “able to be relied on as honest or truthful”. Trust is one of the most important things to me. I’ve had many people break my trust and its hard to know if someone is genuine and reliable and somebody you actually wanna associate with. People change, that's one big thing I have came to learn throughout the years, there are so many people I thought I knew that turned their backs on me.
Trust is defined in the dictionary as believing in someone. Trust is what everybody in the world desire, or should desire from one another. It is the key part of establishing a good friendship. Trust is what keeps a relationship with family good, and works as a magnet to keep the bond alive. Without trust, there is not friendship, and without friendship, there is no love. Trust is very hard to gain, but very easy to lose. To gain someone’s trust, it might be a very difficult and painful road especially if you love that person.
According to Dictionary.com, “Trust is the definition of reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing; confidence,” I one hundred percent agree with this definition and apply it when looking for trust in someone. I’m a firm believer that trust is an important value that should never be broken between someone and should be gain overtime. I value trust as being the key to many other things in life. For example, if you have trust in someone or something, you can achieve happiness, friendship, loyalty, and many other things. As a final point, I believe having trust as a core value will amount to not only your success, but to others as

in each other. In every relationship there has to be trust, but for some reason,
Secondly, trust is an issue that every platonic friendship must deal with. Whether dealing with matters of trust is active or passive, its power is still a prevalent and pertinent quality that is mutually understood. Trust is an unwritten rule between friends and is defined as the “firm belief or confidence in the honesty, integrity, reliability, justice, etc of another person.” (Webster’s, pg. 1436) Trust is also described as “faith”(Webster’s, pg. 1436). When using a word such as “faith,” that describes a substantial belief in one another, it is very difficult to argue that breaking the trust of the friendship is ever in the best interest of the friend.
Trust is the persuasion and confidence in the integrity, constancy and fairness of a personify or organization. An essential human value that quantifies and decide our interdependence in relationships with others. Trust is an option we make toward someone when we are inhaled that they have either earned our confidence or are by some other means suitable of it. It is crabbed to acquire, and when fractured even harder to redeem, so perhaps the precept of trust is not how to gait it, but what it takes to keep it. And perhaps the top value of deposit is not the accomplishments we make with it, but rather what trust accomplishes in us on our expedition to become people who are worthy of receiving it. Without trust what do you have? I think trust is the basis of a relationship. Without trust life becomes lonesome. Trust is what permits us to have meaningful relationships with other people. Trust is knowing that you will do the same deed unbiased of whether someone is looking at you or not. I value trust because trust is
To be trusted is a greater compliment than to be loved. Trust is something that two people can build together, once they both decide that they can trust one another. It is an attitude that we seek in people in hopes that they become worthy to be trusted (McLeod 5). The definition of trust varies, but it is primarily putting confidence in someone that they will do what they are trusted for. Trust is a make or break, it could either make a relationship or break it.
Trust is illustrated in the dictionary as a firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone; however, trust is not that straightforward to interpret. Trust goes into a deeper meaning as we experience life and grow. Trust is believing in someone with your heart, knowing that they will treasure and adore it inside them. Trust is not doubt. Trust explained in different ways within one's being which are: trust in yourself, trust in one's companion, trust in family, and trust in friends.
Whenever you have something you need to talk about and you can’t tell anyone, you should be able to tell your friend.
