Recommended: The sinking of the rms titanic

While the disaster of the RMS Titanic was very tragic and unfortunate, many historians today continue to argue if there was a more efficient method to rescue the passengers of the Titanic and reduce the lives lost during its sinking. One of the most debated idea was to crash into the iceberg directly, rather than attempting to deflect it. Not only would it result in fewer compartments being flooded by two to three sections, it would also prolong the passengers’ amount of time of survival, thus producing more time for the RMS Carpathia to rescue the commuters of the Titanic.
