The Resurrection of Jesus Christ

The resurrection of Christ is a topic that has many various opinions, yet the facts all come down to the truth. There is no possible way that all the events lined up perfectly without a single hinderance, all to be called “false” or a “scam.” With the scriptures, Biblical accountabilities, and historical facts to back it up, we can be assured that the resurrection of Christ was in fact a true period in history. As it says in John 11: 25-26, “Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. An interesting fact about Jesus’ tomb to prove the resurrection is that, afterwards, it was never created into a shrine for people to come and see. Usually, in the times of the Bible, when a man dies, a shrine was created in order to exhibit his bones for the people. The fact that Jesus’ tomb was not made into a shrine ultimately concludes that there were no bones to showcase, meaning that he did, in fact, raise from the dead. We read to read their first hand knowledge on the situation, straight from the God-breathed book of the Bible. There is also symbolic evidence in the Last Supper, as this is talking about how Jesus gave up his life and sacrificed everything for us, sinners. There are many sources of evidence found in the Bible that we can read about and gain further knowledge on the resurrection from. Finally, in the Bible, we read about a numerous amount of eye witnesses that could testify for the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Mary Magdalene and the other Mary as mentioned earlier were the first people who saw the tomb empty. The Roman guards, all the disciples, the two men on the road to Emmaus, and many other witness all saw Jesus alive and well for 40 days after the resurrection had taken place.
