THESIS When the human brain is used for ten minutes straight, it generates enough electricity to power the Sears Tower for forty-eight seconds. That’s more than a hundred floors of electricity powered. (7). The brain creates more brainwave signals than every cell phone signal in the world at one time, in one second of use. When humans listen to music, we generate three times the amount of electricity and brainwaves. (6). Music is widely used to express ourselves thoroughly. Bruno Mars’ “Unorthodox Jukebox” album does just that. It expresses. It allows us to express how we feel about something going on in our life. When music is heard, our brain is overloaded with Dopamine which produces immense amounts of love for whatever we are thinking about. The Police, Rolling Stones, Prince, Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, Little Richard, Keith Sweat, Led Zeppelin, and Hawaiian-born, ukulele-playing, Israel Kamakawiwo’ole (IZ).

...they should do. Bruno Mars started the trend that you shouldn’t be afraid to be who you need or want to be nor do you have to conform or try to fit inside of anyone else’s molds of what should be done. Bruno Mars stepped outside the box. He wasn’t afraid to be unorthodox nor was he afraid if what anyone might think. He used his wide variety of mixology and knowledge of the various genres of music as well as his background as singer with his family band. Bruno Mars also drew from his past an Elvis impersonator and from his other idols that paved the way in their own way that it is okay to be daring and think outside the box. Bruno Mars has opened up the doors to other artists to follow his example and use their talents to not only touch the hearts of people but change how they think and feel as humans which in turn would start to change the world around us.
