Bruno Mars: a real musical talent
There are many famous artists in the industry today. There are many that lack originality and imagination. Many of them have the same style, same type of genre and the same way they rise to stardom- mainly tabloids. However, there is one name that stands out, making a unique name for himself- Bruno Mars.
Bruno Mars has a great voice, catchy songs- and he writes most of his own songs, knows how to play several instruments. His lyrics are amazing and meaningful. So what’s there not to like? He has the originality and uniqueness that make him stand out in a bigger way. Bruno Mars is leaps and bounds better than his contemporaries. He’s lot more deserving and basically makes other look like no talent.
Perhaps the most enticing quality of Bruno Mars is that he is not all about getting famous. His songs are very realistic. He expresses his feelings through his songs and sings from the heart and personal experiences. As an artist it is very important to connect to your audience. Bruno’s music is so powerful that it can move one’s soul and where everybody joins in the revelry. If you listen to his music you’ll know what I mean.
Many of us admire his personality, the way he comes across to people. Bruno Mars seems very humble, down-to-earth person unlike many other artists. His music is very relatable not overpoweringly or disproportionate. Therefore, he doesn’t have to resort to gimmicks. He’s doing all this without trying to make sensational headlines with imprudent behavior. He lets his talent and music speak for himself.
How often do you see Bruno Mars on the cover page of gossip magazines? Not so much. Right? Anyone who follows Bruno Mars realizes ...

...e an identity for a massive television. Similarly, the critics wrote off Bruno Mars that he is not big enough star to shine on the national stage. Because he lacks fragrance deals and is not in the tabloids. According to Jody Rosen, pop critic in New York Times, Bruno Mars is someone with a dynamic stage presence but has not made any effort to construct offstage persona around himself. The journalist missed the main point here. Bruno Mars’ music and his singing craft are so great and that’s what elevates him into the type of performer worthy of appearing at the Super Bowl and entertaining massive audience. So why does he need fragrance deals or some offstage persona to shine when he is already shining without it?
Bruno Mars has got great showmanship, great talent and angelic voice. He is truly the future of music! Bruno Mars- “you are amazing just the way you are”.
However, what attributed to Michael Jackson’s success was not because he got lucky, it is simply because he practiced hours and hours at his craft and essentially where he was born and raised. Michael wasn’t just blessed with an impressive dance skill set, behind those flashy dance moves was hard work and dedication. At the early age of 5, Michael Jackson studied and was inspired by the late great icon James Brown. Jackson studied the musicians legendary singing, dancing, and even his mannerisms while he was performing on stage. While Michael was studying the late singer, he had a hunch that he wanted to achieve major stardom in the same fashion as James Brown. In Malcolm Gladwell’s book, The Outliers, he addressed the 10,000 hour rule. He indicated that it takes roughly ten thousand hours of practice to achieve full mastery in a field. It’s easy to assume that Michael simply just had a natural ability to sing and dance, but we tend to overlook the endless amount of hours this man has put forth to become so successful. The most compelling evidence that contributed to his success was his ability to have room for error and think of new ideas. Michael was constantly searching and constructing new dance moves/routines to perform to his audience. In addition, he always eager to
I think positive about this artist because he is one of those artists that actually and emotionally, is never far away from his home.

Well, he shows you do not have to be the smartest person to be successful and that never to give up on what you’re after. For example, he puts parts of his personal life into his music to show that just because he has fame and fortune that doesn’t mean he’s like any other human being. He sings and raps about love, passion, and loss. For one in his song “Hotline Bling” from his album “Views,” shows a loss of a friend, or maybe a lover and how things change and one you stop trying to make the relationship work, but turns out into just being “you used to.”
This shows that this is him and who he really is. People following his beliefs because he treated people equally and judged people equally. This is a big difference from him and other hip-hop artists.
Madonna stated “My God, he was so unique, so original, so rare. And there will never be anyone like him again.” And Whitney Houston hailed him as the greatest entertainer. He had a lot of influence on artist like Beyoncé, Chris Brown, Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake and many more entertainers. His impact on them shaped the music we listen on a radio today and without him the fashion, music videos, and dances would be different. Beyoncé is popular today because of Michael Jackson. She stated “Michael taught me that sometimes you have to forget technique, forget what you have on. If you feel silly, you have to go from the gut just let it go. Michael Jackson changed me, and helped me to become the artist I am thank you Michael.” This is not the only artist he had an impact
The pop music stars that fascinates me… I have many, such as Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, Austin Mahone, Ariana Grande, and Tori Kelly. But, for today I will go into depth with the male being Justin Bieber and the female being Demi Lovato. Many people wonder, so many times from time and time again what do I see in these artist. Well to be honest, they have a story that made them who they are today, which is a strong, independent, calm, and inspirational person. Take Justin Bieber for instance, many people find him impulsive and immature from the events that have occurred in the past up until now. Everyone knows about the Miami incident that occurred a year and 7 months ago. He’s showing many that he’s taken the consequences with what he did
The music created by the legendary Scott Joplin can be heard everywhere around the world even to this day. Many of his works are immediately recognizable to millions of people, including myself. I was not even aware that I knew any of Scott Joplin’s masterpieces but I certainly did. The composition entitled The Entertainer has been featured countless times in movies and games that I have experienced and its catchy beat was cemented in my mind (IMDb). Joplin was the king of the ragtime musical genre, and his name is synonymous with that period of music.
One of his most controversial songs came later in his career, it was titled “Jesus Walks,” many people didn’t want this song to be played but radios did it any way and so did MTV. There is one verse of the song that makes you appreciate his work:
Howard Cosell, a legendary commentator, spoke words about this legendary man that more or less sums up his legendary career. He said "Frank Sinatra, who has the phrasing, who has the control, who understands the composers, who knows what losing means as so many have, who made the great comeback, who stands still, enduringly, on top of the entertainment world. Ladies and gentlemen, from here on in it's Frank Sinatra!" Frank Sinatra, the only singer in history to have hit records in five consecutive decades, led a lot more distinctive life than people were led to believe.
Even for every day appearances, he always caught everybody’s attention. With his unique fashion sense he manages to start more trends. From the single, white, sequined glove, the red leather jacket with so many zippers. To his pegged pants, fedora, and bedazzled military coats (Rosen, 2009). People everywhere began to follow his fashion trends. Along with other musicians, people changed their look just so that they could stand out and catch people’s attention. Just looking about celebrities today there are numerous of artist that started out with a couple of songs, but didn’t get a big fan base so they changed up their look. From Lady Gaga, to Katy Perry, Nicki Minaji, Lana Del Ray, etc. But unlike them Michael Jackson had already caught everybody’s attention with his vocals and

...is solo career and the amazing albums he has put out such as "Thriller" and "Off The Wall", and many more. He has set many world wide history records when it came to his music. His career is still going even though he has not. The other members of the Jackson Five are carrying on with his legacy and his music records are still listened and bought tell this day. Michael has left a legacy of hard work and staying true to your creative side, and that is still intact and many artists today still try to imitate his music. Michael has brought a variety into the music world and we name him the King of Pop because he brought allot to the music industry table. Having such a wide background I picked Michael because he best represented the 1950's throughout 1990's. throughout his career alive he has made more money dead. His music will never die and will always be a success.
First taking to the stage at the age of just 11 as part of his family's gig The Jackson 5, Michael Jackson grew quickly into the superstardom, which would both reward and plague his life. An apparently unstoppable creative and financial force through the highs of his career, 'The King of Pop' struggled with a confused and turbulent private life that was often made appalling public. In the wake of his shock death though, it is for his artistry - and not his controversies - that he will be remembered and sadly missed.
