The “Star Wars” franchise is familiar to most, and may be the easiest in which to discover the hero’s journey. In “Star Wars,” we find young Luke Skywalker, a rebellious youth, living on a farm on the isolated planet of Tatooine, taken in by his aunt and uncle following the death of his mother and father. Luke grows up with dreams of flying through the stars, only dreams until his chance meeting with Ben Kenobi. Kenobi informs Luke of his real past: that his father was a Jedi knight and that Luke was destined to become great. Though Kenobi’s guidance and Luke own adventurous spirit, he finds himself pushed into an intergalactic quest to become a valiant Jedi in a galaxy controlled by the evil Empire.
One example that shows he is glorified is when he receives a meat for destroying the death star, Luke Skywalker was once just a typical, normal kid who was a field hand to his uncle but later turned into the brave, courageous, determined kid of whom he is now. Luke Skywalker is capable of using the force to help him with all of his challenging battles. The force is extremely strong within in Luke Skywalker. Luke is willing to look the evil demon of fear in the eyes and take the bull by the horns. What makes Luke courage’s is that the knows it is not going to be easy, he knows its going to be very difficult, but he is still willing to help the with destroying the Death Star Also, he is by far one of the most intelligent and courageous men. Skywalker uses his intelligent brain to his advantage; he’s always out thinking his opponent. Throughout all of Luke Skywalker’s battles there is always a chance of death; however Luke is willing to risk his very own life for the rebellion and Princess Leia. Luke Skywalker figures out that the droids are being followed by the evil Empire he goes back to his home to try and rescue his uncle. He always takes charge when called upon. When Princess Leia needs assistance, he steps up and lends a helping hand to rescue her. Through every adventure Luke undertakes, he shows how courageous he actually is. Courage is what guides Skywalker into conquering his fears and destroying his
He often complimented Anakin, he insulted the Jedi Order both many times and called them fools for not seeing Anakin’s potential. His consistent praise boosed Anakin’s ego so that by the time the Chancellor tried to appoint him to the Jedi Council, Anakin believed he deserved it. Then, when the Jedi Council did not elevate him to the rank of Jedi Master, Palpatine was there to listen. The effects upon Anakin continue when Obi-Wan Kenobi asks him to spy on Palpatine. The Jedi and Anakin were pulled into Palpatine’s evil plan.
In Star Wars: Episode III- Revenge of the Sith, Anakin Skywalker, a young and promising Jedi believed to be the Chosen One by his master, Obi-Wan Kenobi, befriends Chancellor Palpatine, a member of the Galactic Senate. Members of the Jedi Council are skeptical of the Chancellor and order Anakin to spy on him in hopes of discovering his suspicious identity. When the two are together, Palpatine tells Anakin the story of a Sith Lord, Darth Plagueis, who was so powerful not only could he create life, he could prevent death. Intrigued, Anakin asks, “Is it possible to learn this power” (Lucas ). He confronts his secret wife, and says, “I won’t let you die, Padme” (Lucas ). The fact that Skywalker wanted to
I believe our personalities make up who we are and how others perceive us at times. Personalities are our own unique qualities, that we possess as individuals. In writing this short paper, I have found that psychologists use assessments to define an individual’s personality to determine their qualities and what makes them different from other individuals. Through the Big Five Personality test, I found it difficult to define and understand an individual personality

Heroes are often perceived as characters who leap great distances in a single bound. However, they actually have three distinct stages where they develop into the character we grow to love. In George Lucas` “StarWars IV: A New Hope.” Luke Skywalker is a quintessence of of an archetypal hero because he goes through initiation stage through distinct phases of separation, transformation and the return stage. Luke Skywalker begins his journey as farmer boy on a remote planet and becomes the hero of the galaxy. However, this process the not happen quickly. Rather, it is a difficult journey where is is faced with multiple tests and obstacles and pushes his endurance to the limit.
A person’s personality has been the subject of psychological scrutiny for many years. Psychologists have drawn up several theories in an attempt to accurately predict and determine one’s personality. Foremost amongst these, is the “Big Five Trait Theory” which stemmed from Raymond B. Cattell’s theory.
The constant theme throughout this movie is the battle between good and evil, right and wrong, and light and dark. Anakin Skywalker is the main protagonist throughout this film. There is an internal fight going on within him concerning what side of the force he should follow. The light side means he would have to allow Padme, his wife, to die. The dark side would allow him to save her or at least have the fear of losing her. He slowly starts to turn to the dark side with guidance from Darth Sidious (Chancellor Palpatine). Anakin believes he is doing the right thing which in turn will save Padme from dying in childbirth.

The concept of personality has numerous definitions (Fatahi, Moradi, & Kashani-Vahid, 2016). Schultz and Schultz (2009), define personality in its broad sense as the manner of an individual’s behaviour in different situations. This essay explores the nature of personality, with the intention of highlighting its flexibility. The results of numerous empirical research studies are examined in order to investigate if, and how personality changes over time. It will be argued that an individual’s personality has the ability to change throughout their life.
