Star Wars Connection Star Wars’ government is similar to the United States government is many different ways. Although, they do not share the same names there representations are almost the same. There was the Supreme Chancellor which is similar to the President, they had a clone army which is like the U.S. Army, they had the Jedi council which would have been similar to the Justices in the Judicial Branch, and a Galactic Senate which would have been similar to the United States Senate. The Jedi Council represents the Justices in the Judicial Branch because they served as the administrative body that governed the Order's academies, temples, and organizations such as the Jedi Service Corps. Most of the Council consisted of teachers, philosophers, scientists, engineers, physicians, diplomats and warriors.
