The moonlight bounced off of every surface it touched. The street lights brightened up the path for the late night wanders.a 65' blue Chevy Pulls out of a dark alley. It runs through the streets of Boston towards a target that has no idea its coming. It drives past small town shops at 85 miles per hour, not noticing or caring about the stop lights or anything else it passes. The street lamps catch a glimpse at the driver as the car drives by. They see a person, but can't tell anyone what they look like. The car pulls to a stop in front of a two story, white house after running for two miles. He sees the wall paper is red out of the corner of his eye. He sees a stair case leading up. The man keeps the knife in his head, just in case...... He quietly steps up the stairs. Each step brings a wave of anxiety. As he steps, the stairs make a noise. He looks behind after every step he takes. The man finally gets to the top of the stairs to see a room. He peeks his head in, but is able to see nothing. He pulls a flash light our of his shirt pocket, turns it on, and aims it at the room. There is a empty child's bed. He shines the flashlight from left to right. The room looks like it hasn't been touched for awhile. There is a dresser and and children toys. He turns right to see hallway with three doors. He heads down it and looks at the walls as he walks. The first room is a white tiled bathroom with a fish curtain covering the shower. A cabinet is open revealing it is full of prescription pills, not all of them prescribed to the owner of the house. He continues down the hall. The walls are covered with pictures of people he remembers. The second room has exercise machines, though the owner never used them. The man walks towards the …show more content…

He walks towards the bed. There is a figure in it. He stands by the bed staring at the woman in it. The woman rolls over to see a dirty man looking at her. She screams. "You can't be here." " Well, here i am," says the man/ The woman starts crying. He looks at her with a blank expression. He looks down at the knife in his hand. The woman has her knees pressed against her chest and her arms wrapped around her legs. He puts the knife against her neck. She stares at the wall. Her face goes blank and a curtain closes in her mind, blocking her from thinking clearly. Thoughts run through her mind. All at once her mind clears. She looks at the man that use to be her husband. She punches him. He stumbles back giving her time to jump out of the bed and run through the hall. He pulls out a gun and aims it at her. The trigger is pulled and a bullet hits her in the leg, making her fall to the ground. He walks around her to the beginning of the stairs, eyeing her as he does. She looks up at him. His face still expressionless. She grabs the railing and pulls herself up. She throws one leg over the railing then the other, while the man just watches
