The benefits of the military have grown excessively, the military offers so many good benefits that it is almost a crim not to take advantage of them. The Military is an excellent career choice that presents its soldiers with outstanding benefits and experiences. “Each branch of the military offers its own special lodging styles and locations” (Howell 144). “ You do not have to be affiliated with a particular service to use the services lodging” (Howell 144). “The military offers a wide range of accommodation for travelers no matter what service branch your affiliated with, and you can fly at no cost to reach all those destinations by using a special travel benefit” (Howell 138). “ With installations all over the world and a benefit of 30 days of paid vacation, the military gives numerous opportunities to visit new regions and cultures” (“world”). “ Another great benefit of military service is that you have many convenient and inexpensive lodging options” (Howell 144). So pretty much what I am saying is that in the military anyone can travel anywhere they desire. Just as long as one is enlisted they could go any place and not pay a dime out of their pocket. There is a ton of opportunity to live and experience the world, and it is all free. Plus family members are permitted to join you while you are traveling or simply just changing bases or getting a new duty station. Plus the military gives all expense paid vacations. Now let us talk about a big thing that everyone talks about when military gets brought up. That subject is the pay. In all honesty the pay is well enough, plus there are so many different bonuses and benefits many do not even know about The military gives special allowances for certain circumstances. Now there... ... middle of paper ... ... take advantage of all your benefits as well, from education all the way threw insurance items. That in itself is a perk. The military has countless benefits just so one is happy. They pay pretty much for everything you do and if they do not pay 100% you can get compensated for it somehow because there is so many different plans. Your family members get to use everything in the spouses disposal pretty much. I enlisted into the military for the educational benefits because I knew I would not get any scholarships and I knew armed forces get it all for free so I should take advantage of the same benefits that so many others have. I am proud to say though I am part of something way bigger than myself, the military makes you two times as confident and proud of yourself. I am part of a force that is only less than one percent of the United Nation. I am American Soldier.
