From the biggest daredevils to the most timid person, Busch Gardens is a park that will satisfy anyone with country themed spots and extravagant service. It is worth the payment and drive from wherever you live to come and enjoy at least one day under the sun in this theme park. In 1906, Adolphus Busch opened the very first Busch Gardens was opened in Pasadena, California. Back then it was only a flower garden on of Adolphus’ estate. The park was a beautiful garden at the time, and a lower section was built in 1909 was opened to the public. Lily Busch, Adolphus’ wife, installed fairytale scenes into the garden to entertain the kids that came for picnics and hosted easter egg hunts. One of the spots is Tampa, Florida and the other spot is Williamsburg, Virginia. This makes travel for the Northern states long and sometimes inconvenient. I was lucky that Busch Gardens is closer to Maryland and I didn’t have to travel too far. Even though Busch Gardens is floral on the inside, entering means travelling into eight closed off lanes for the people going into the park is where most of the cars stream into the parking lots. The lot is surrounded by forests, but the car ride can get boring if you don’t order your ticket. Sunday’s are usually the best time to go, but if not make sure you are there in the morning before it opens. Busch Gardens experience can cost quite the pretty penny if you’re not careful. A usual day at the park costs around $95 for adults and $90 for a child for the tickets. In certain spots, adults that show their I.D. are allowed to purchase wine and beer and some products make adult jokes or show adult preferences. Even if a child or teen doesn't want to go on a ride doesn't put them in a boring situation. There are shows that the staff put on featuring animals, and the amount of stores and games goes on and on. Rides will feel unlimited in this park after only first looking at the map of the park. Each country in the park has its own signature ride along with multiple others strewn over the space of the country. The rides range from calm to intimidating in only a few steps. There are a total of 54 roller coasters in Williamsburg, eight of them being rollercoasters and ten of them being water rides. Just because the roller coasters are the big advertisement opportunity, doesn't mean that there aren’t other attractions. In the park, you get a schedule that has a list of all the shows and exhibitions that are available that day. When I went, they had an Aviary that was filled with birds of all different colors that you could feed if you purchased the milk that was in the building. Also, they had shows such as an animal show where you sat on benches and watch as they showed off exotic creatures such as a hawk, fox, wolf, owl, and hamsters by putting them through trained tests that had everybody clapping at the end of
