The Atlantis resort is a casino and water park located on Paradise Island, The Bahamas. The resort officially opened in 1998, it’s Coral and Beach towers opened as the Trump Plaza. After the Royal towers were built the name of the resort changed to Atlantis. Later the Coral and Beach towers were refurbished to match the theme of the Royal towers. A 600-suite luxury hotel was opened on March 28, 2007, called The Cove Atlantis. The Reef Atlantis, another tower with 497 rooms, opened December 19, 2007. Dolphin Cay has 14 acres and 6.6 million gallons of crystal clear seawater, and is one of the largest and most sophisticated marine habitats and dolphin rescue-rehabilitation facilities anywhere in the world. Ever since I was a child, my family and I have been Disney fanatics. The Disney empire has created many amazing places, but my favorite location to visit is the Walt Disney World Resort. Every day 50,000 people from all over the world arrive at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida to experience the magic. When the park first opened its gates in 1971, 10,000 visitors made their way through. That number has multiplied five-fold and continues to multiply to this day. Since the 1971 opening, over 600 million people have experienced the magic of Disney. In my lifetime, I have visited the park with my family and friends six times. Each visit lasted four days in order to experience all the parks and their unique offerings. When I’m in Disney World, the experience each time is incredible.

Walking along the nature trail on the island that is surrounded by beautiful green plants and palm trees I came across stingray cove, a place where you can swim with the stingrays. Enjoying the sights of the stingrays I spot a colossal starfish by a rock in the water. I came across the lagoon that I could have ridden jet skis in or kayaked, but couldn’t get to close due to the plants and rocks. Making my way back towards the beach I watch as people ride horses in the water. Starting to smell something great I realized that it was time for a bohemian meal. While enjoying a delicious meal, a band was playing some relaxing reggae. Quickly my time at Half Moon Cay came to an end, I was not ready to leave the tropical paradise. I cannot wait to take another cruise just to come back and relax. Half Moon Cay also known as Little San Salvador Island with only 2 percent of the island begin developed, is an international bird sanctuary and natural preserve. With that being said the only way to visit is by cruise ship. Whether just wanting to relax on the beautiful beach, explore the island, or do excursions like snorkeling Half Moon Cay, Bahamas is a place I look forward to visiting
