Well, today I’m going to be telling you about why women shouldn’t be able to have an abortion, except in cases of life endangerment, rape, or incest. Everyone has different thoughts and concerns when it comes to abortion. In this essay, I will argue that even if the fetus has the right to life, abortion, is still morally acceptable in the case of ectopic pregnancy, rape and contraceptive failure, as the fetus doesn’t have the right to use a woman’s body without her consent or if it endangers her.

There are many reasons why people choose to get an abortion. Most of the time parenthood is not planned and the proper precautions to not having a child are not taken. The parents feel that they are not emotionally or financially stable to bring a baby into this world. Another reasons could be that they have been raped or that the father chose to not want to be in her life anymore and the mother cannot take of a baby by herself. Bringing a child into this world unprepared is not really the best idea so many people resort to abortion. Some chose to get abortions because they find out that there is a medical problem wrong with the baby causing it to not have a regular life.

When considering an individual’s ethics and values, killing is morally wrong. Therefore, the termination of unborn children is wrong, as well. Abortion, the unethical expulsion of an embryo or fetus, in order to purposely end a pregnancy, should be forbidden because human life begins at conception, economics is not a justification for abortion, and an unwanted child does not justify abortion.
Women have many reasons for not wanting to be pregnant so they seek abortions. Many of these reasons are related to being mentally unprepared. One main reason why women get abortions is unintended pregnancy. A woman between the ages of 18-25 would consider abortion because she may have plans for her future that does not allow her at the present time to care for a child.
