Summer Reading Should Be Taught In Schools

Who enjoys summer reading? I know I don't but it's not just because i am not fond of reading or I just want to do nothing the whole summer, it's because it causes stress and some books are boring. I feel schools should lower the amount of books children must read during the summer or they could make students read a couple books but not have a report on them. On the subject of stress, stress is one of the main factors causing insomnia and other sleep disorders. Kids during the school year are super stressed with tests/quizzes almost everyday, piles of homework, and many projects, they can't help but count down the days till relaxation also known as summer. Where all students put their worries aside for two months and with having so many books to read, it's like school never stopped. Believe it or not kids are busy. Some kids goof off and put off their summer reading till the last week of summer but others don't have the time. Many kids like myself have summer camps all summer because our parents have work. Kids can find time to read a book but when it's time to do the report it just gets way harder. We finally get a relaxing time but we have to read three books and to a report for each of them. It's also very hard for people who have dyslexia or ADHD to focus on reading books that won't help them at all in the future when they would rather make the most of their summer and have fun. Kids are preparing for the new school year and trying to make a good impression on their future teachers but it's hard to do that when the books they are forced to read are
