Durga Niroula Daniel Peterman English 122 April 22, 2014 STRESS SYMPTOMS, EFFECTS AND MANAGEMENT Human bodies that are being continually exposed to stress can develop widespread positive as well as negative effects in terms of physical, social, and emotional conditions. Due to the fact that stress can bring broadened effects to human body, it is vital to learn proper stress management techniques. By learning how to properly avoid being stressed will help us stay away from serious and chronic diseases and illness. Prior to learning stress management techniques and procedures, it’s important to thoroughly understand bits and pieces that contributes to stress, it’s internal mechanism, biological as well as chemical processes that occurs within the systems of our body that generate stress response. It’s also equally important to learn about various stressors which are likely to cause stress, it’s symptoms, and potential health risks it may causes as a result of body being exposed to high level of stress. Once we have all the information required to understand stress from all directions while taking various perspectives into account, it is easier for us to effectively manage it. This approach will be more efficient rather than randomly trying to care stress with over the counter pain relief medications. In modern days societies, stress is commonly known as our bodies being overwhelmed. Because majority of the people living in this world go to bed every single night with deadlines in their mind, bills to pay, appointments to attend, files they need to create, presentations, meetings, interviews, commute and so many likes, it is very easy to compel our bodies to become heavily exposed with stress. Lastly, behavioral symptoms covers the changes that occur in daily personal lives such as changes in appetite, procrastinating, avoiding responsibilities, increased use of drugs and alcohol, and exhibiting more nervous behaviors. Because Stress can cause widespread damages to the body, it’s vital for one to know his/her limit. But how much is too much? This really depends on the people who deal with it; it differs from person to person. Some people favors high level of stress and seem to thrive on the excitement and challenges it brings. People’s ability to tolerate stress depends on many factors, including the health of the relationships they are in, the general outlook appearance of their life, their emotional intelligence, and family genetics.
