Introduction:

Many species are part of the endangered animals, and steppe eagle is no different. Any endangered animals suffers HIPPO (Habitat Destruction, Invasive Species, Population, Pollution, and Overharvesting.), and like other flying species suffers electrocution. This eagle can’t be found in United States, but they are located outside of Europe to Central Asia. There are about 800-1200 pairs of steppe eagle. I choose steppe eagle because I believe steppe eagles should not be harmed by power lines and their destruction of their habitat. Unfortunately there hasn’t been a favorable or a specific solution for this eagle. I will propose to you one of my suggestions to help steppe eagles free from being endangered.

Threats:

Steppe eagle poses many threats, such as illegal hunting or trading of the animal, habitat destruction, and power lines. Illegal hunting and trading of the animal to the black market is Illegal, poaching of the animal. The destruction of steppe eagle’s habitat is dangerous because it could affect their life styles and their environment. The cables causes electrocution, creating death. The electrocution is caused by the two cables one positive and one negative.

To do so bury the electrical cables underground, with fully equip insulation and protection, called armored cables. What differentiates the normal underground cable is that the insulation is more protective and does not weaken over time. The depth of the cable should average around 3 feet below the grade, and it depends to the local authority’s derestriction. (Note: this project is best used away from the city and can be used near environmental areas.) By hiding the cable underground this is a bird friendly, and land friendly for animals.
