He was enlisted into the roman army under Emperor carinus to assist the martyrs. He was very courageous so he became a Praetorian Guard captain under Diocletian, who was unaware he was a christian. In 286 he was detected, Diocletian then commanded him be taken to a field and tied to a stake to be used for anchor targets. Thirty-seven weeks. All Saints’ Episcopal Church has been without a priest for thirty-seven weeks and in this diminutive amount of time, worship at all Saints’ has never faltered. In the past thirty-seven weeks, we have listened intently to some of the best supply priests in our region, been exposed to various organists through music and singing, parish events have continued with enthusiastic turnout, our services are filled with planned liturgy and celebration, but most importantly, ALL of these traditions will continue as usual. He is the patron Saint of adopted children, lawyers, civil servants, politicians, and difficult marriages, and is celebrated on the 22nd of June. he was knighted by King Henry in 1521, and was canonized by Pope Pius XI in May 19th of 1935. (Baker-Smith) Throughout his life he has displayed traits that would help world leaders today. Three of his greatest traits that would help leaders today are bravery, influentialness, and the ability to be hard working. He most likely developed these traits at St. Anthony School, where he was educated. Overall St. Thomas More could help our world leaders with the traits that he carried during his life.
St. Benedict’s rules required a very strict way of life for the monks. His rules if followed lead to a very minimalistic type of life, one that could fully focus on god. His rules require one to be completely humble, since one who is completely humble will never think of oneself but fully focus on living a life devoted to god.

Composer Bach was raised in a family with musicians that were talented as well. Sebastian Bach’s father, Johann Ambrosius was a well-known man in his hometown in Eisenach. Ambrosius was the one that taught his youngest son Bach how to play the violin, Bach became an expert at playing the violin as he got older. He also had a beautiful voice and was part of his church choir. At such a young age Bach was a gifted kid, he learned many learning materials; such as studying latin and other courses. Bach had a strong belief as a Lutheran, having that type of faith motivated him for the future, as he worked on his musical career. As Bach became older, at the age of 10, he had been through so much at that age. He had lost both of his parents two months apart from each other. Bach later than moved to Ohrduff, Germany to live with his older brother Johann Christoph.
Saint Teresa is very influential in her works of service. She has inspired many to take on a life of hope in service and helping others. When you see a person who carries themselves like mother Teresa does, she helps those who people are afraid to be around and don't want to even look at from the goodness of her heart. In all the situations she's been in, many people would have ran and went into hiding instead of standing up for others and being helpful. She challenges us to a life of service because of her faith. She stood up for what she believed in, and that's how she's such a good role model.
