Islam is the monotheistic religion which means that every Muslim has faith in One God, Allah SWT. Shahaada is the first and the foremost pillar of Islam which is the basis of all other pillars. Muslims negate every other entities and accept the oneness of Allah SWT by saying Kalima e Tyyaba which means that “there is no god but God, and Prophet Muhammad SAW is His Messenger.” And Kalima e Shahadat which is Ash-hadu Al-laaa Ilaaha Illa-llaahu Wahdahoo Laa Shareeka Lahoo Wa-Ash-hadu Anna Muhammadan ‘Abduhoo Wa Rasooluhu. “I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, the One alone, without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger” HADITH:

• Volume 9, Book 93, Number 470:

Narrated Mu'adh

Do you know what Allah's Right upon His slaves is?" I said, "Allah and His Apostle know best." The Prophet said, "To worship Him (Allah) Alone and to join none in worship with Him (Allah). Do you know what their right upon Him is?" I replied, "Allah and His Apostle know best." The Prophet said, "Not to punish them (if they do so)."

IMPACT:

• Faith in oneness of Allah make a Muslim more submissive towards Him and adds more love and passion in His worship.

• By saying Kalima e tayyiba one accepts the oneness of Allah as well as that Prophet Muhammad SAW is His last Prophet and all his teachings are true and one should properly follow every teaching.

• By accepting and having faith in oneness of Allah, one knows that there is a supreme power i-e Allah Almighty who has created the sky and the earth and everything between them. And also have believe that this world is a temporary place to live and there is a life after this world on which the results of this life would be shown. The evil doers will be directed towards Jahannum and rest of people who lived according to the teachings of Quran and Sunnah will live in Jannah, the ultimate peace. Fear to go in jahanum let people in this world do best

Muslims bows in front Allah 5 times a day showing Him submission and love towards Him. All Muslims offer Salat directing towards the Holy Kaba, Makkah. This also shows unity among Muslim nation. Men usually go to masjid for salah and women are advised to pray at home. AYAH:

• In Quran Allah says

“Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds and establish prayer and give zakah will have their reward with their Lord, and there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.” (2:277) HADITH:

• The following is reported from Jabir Ibn Abdullah (R.A): The Prophet (PBUH) said, “Between faith and unbelief is abandoning the prayer.” (Muslim, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah, Musnad)

• The following is reported from Hzrat Aisha (R.A): The Prophet stated the following for the two-rak'ah sunnah of the morning prayer: “This two-rak'ah prayer is definitely better than the world for me.” (Muslim)

IMPACT:

• Ablution before each prayer makes a Muslim more cleaner. And Allah likes those who keep themselves clean.

• Offering salah is the best means to communicate with Allah
