THE PERSONALITY OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD S.A.W. As all humanity knows, Prophet Muhammad ( PBUH ) is a role model to whole Muslims in the world. Without knowing Him as the messenger with a blessing from Allah to whole Muslims will not getting a ‘Hidayah’ from Allah. Hidayah means the people that chosen from Allah to following to the truth way. We all also can’t get the enjoyable of heaven that everlasting of hereafter.
He has revealed his words through the prophet Muhammad which were recorded in the Quran. It is explicitly said in the Quran 2:2 that “no doubt is there about this Book: it is the guidance to the God-fearing.” Therefore, no one is allowed to question the words of God in the Quran based on the human standards. Instead, God will judge everyone based on His words. One can find out from reading the Quran that a devout Muslim should obey Allah in everything and implies the laws of God in his daily lives. The Quran 5:1-9 contains typical Muslim laws regarding food, sexual integrity, prayer, and other behaviors.
You may notice that all letters of these words are capitalized as to show extreme respect to their supreme being. The Muslims in addition to pleasing ALLAH, strive to please him and only him. This is done to reach paradise not in this life but the next. “Through the life to come is better and more enduring” (Ballou, 1999 p. 453). Muslims can be found in all continents of the world, including the United States, and belief in Islam account for the religion of one-fifth of the human race (Fortress, 1999).
As we know loving prophet Muhammad is ‘Ibadah. It is part of our religion to love Muhammad. The Ummah today loves Muhammad If you ask any Muslim “Do you love prophet Muhammad ?”, they would say yes. So even though the Ummah today with the shallow information that the masses of Muslims have about him, still love him, but we cannot truly have deep love for Prophet Muhammad ( unless we are like companion did. Through the book also make me more understand and acknowledge the struggle and sacrifice of the Companions for the sake of establishing this religion and the hardships that they went through.
With 1.5 billion followers worldwide, the religion of Islam is the second most popular religion over the entire globe, and follows a strict set of rules derived from the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad, a messenger of God, or Allah. Founded in 622 C.E. (also known as A.D.) in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, Islam is a strictly monotheistic religion that drew inspiration from earlier religions like Christianity and Judaism. It is divided into three different sections- the Sunni, Shi’a and Sufi sects. The Qur’an is the holy book of Islam, and is considered the unaltered word of Allah.
Muslims believe that God is the one and only and the reason of their existence as stated in the Qu’ran. Muslims believe that God or as know in Islam, Allah created everything. Allah is the reason of existence of everything in the universe and the purpose of being. The purpose of an Islam is to worship Allah, to love and be selfless with others. (islamicsupremecoucil.com) All people are created equal and there is no one better than another no matter their race, religions and nationality.
But, I do believe that reading is the key to success, power and closer to Allah. Then, I remember what Allah said in the Quran verse Az-Zumar ayah 9: Say: “Are those equal, those who know and those who do not know? By reading this book, I also realize that all people including prophets do not have right or power to give hidayah or guidance to other people except for Allah. For example, Abu Talib loves and cares about Muhamm... ... middle of paper ... ...rybody despite their position or status will receive the punishment if he or she commits a wrongdoing like killing. This indicates that the leader practiced fairness.
If they really practice the Qur’an in the right way, terrorist won’t exist. The Qur’an is the word of Allah “God” that was dictated to Prophet Muhammed by Archangel Gabriel. In Islam, the Qur’an is the primary source of guidance. “The Qur’an is unique in a number of ways. God has perfectly preserved the Qur’an and guaranteed it from corruption until the end of time.’ (Pete Seda, 10).
One of the leading battles was the Battle of Badr, which brought major victory for the people of Muhammad (May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). One might ask, what stimulated Quraysh’s denial of the message of Islam? One cannot disagree that they found that... ... middle of paper ... ...l views, but ultimately brought them closer to understanding their purpose in the worldly life. In Islam, sacrificing something for the sake of Allah (Subhanahu wa ta’ala) is something immense in both gratitude and reward. When people accepted Islam as the only way of life, culture was no longer a priority in their lives.
As a human being they believe that they are in debt to God or simply stated as according to Seyyed Hossein Nasr, “Therefore, all that we are and all that we have belongs to God for which we are indebted to Him and for whose gifts we must give thanks (shukr)” . God is the Absolute and the main point of the Islamic religion is that it is crucial to worship him and follow his commands, and that will lead to peace among everyone. This particular religion has continued to rapidly grow throughout the world and as with most religions, it will continue to grow.
