“Social networking was born one day in 1971, when the first email was sent,” writes Rachel Arandilla; more than 40 years have gone by, and the social networking is more improved than the past, and it becomes super popular and necessary with most people in the world. Through the social networking or the World Wide Web (WWW), we can easily connect with people around the world or easily keep in touch with friends and family, who live thousands of miles away. However, everything in the life has its both negative and positive side and of course social networking or the internet does too. Many people may feel unsatisfied, ashamed, angry or upset with something they post on the social networking, such as Facebook, Google, Twitter, Yahoo, Yandex, Baidu, etc. According to the article “Teen Internet Statistics”, "Teens readily post personal info online. 64% post photos or videos of themselves, while more than half (58%) post info about where they live. Females are far more likely than male teens to post personal photos or videos of themselves (70% vs. 58%).” Teenager have less experience about the life, so they easily make some serious mistake; therefore, they or their parents want to take the information down and don't want anyone else can see it again, so the law accepts them to delete their information because this is their interests. Moreover, According to The New York Times, "Search companies will face a considerable challenge in responding to the requests. Google alone handled more than 23 million requests in the last month to remove links to copyrighted material around the world"(Danny). The law also protects the interests of people, who use the internet, when someone copy their information, such as pictures, profile, statuses, or something else, and report it to other websites without their assent. Through the statistic above, we can see that a lot of people in the world have trouble or are victimized of Copyright Infringement; therefore, they want to protect their information completely, and the law The Right to Be Forgotten helps them to perform
