Social media is a controversy topic in today’s society. Some people think that social media destroys human interaction and real life human relationships. While others think that social media is a bless to humanity. Social media makes human interaction much more convenient and much faster than real life human interaction, it makes globalization a reality, it gives a chance for introverted people to express themselves, and it also benefit develop international relationships whether its business or social. Social media makes it easy for people to communicate and interact with each other anytime anywhere in the world. People can stay connect to their families and loved ones no matter how far they are from each other. That ability to communicate with people all over the world has made people much more open to other societies and other cultures as well. When people learn about other cultures they become more open to new ideas, more open to change, and more accepting to other cultures. There are some downsides to being constantly connected to everybody through social media. The biggest down side is not communicating to loved ones and family through real life interaction, but instead through social media. That is a serious problem to some people, especially those who use technology and are familiar to technology. Because they might not feel the urge to make human interaction, they are just attracted more to technology. People are able to communicate anytime with each other without fear of disrupting anyone. People can’t call each other at two in the morning, but they can send each other an email or comment on some’s profile picture.
