While social media has become very influential, it can have a negative impact on the brain, if it’s used compulsively. Social media has grasped the attention of billions of people in the world. As a result, the use of social media can consume most of a person’s time on a daily basis. Social media usage is hugely appealing to many and more and more people are becoming bona fide users. Social media offers many components that can be helpful and very interesting to people. The components can hold the users’ attention in a very firm manner.

Communication happens during associating, and our need be associated and connect with others is all inclusive and unavoidable; taken cover behind this social intuition there is the much more capable need of giving sense and implications to our reality. Being in contact with others, enables us to make social universes made of images such as language, numbers, signals, emojis and social tenets, which are shared and comprehended by everyone. At times when you use social media it can be more like getting a “Social validation” and it’s important to humans to receive that, It is just an like on facebook or instagram and a favourite on twitter and by getting that it can make us feel good and who doesn’t want to feel good? Another reason why social media can addictive because you get this fear that you are gonna miss out on something that is on there not everyone might not feel this way but from my point of view I think so because we have a very large social network use and everything is being uploaded on social media before it hits the tv so you would not want to miss it and it can have something to do with the brain because of the feeling you are getting, We have a brain wired for collaboration, compromise,restraint, comprehend and managing one’s place in shifting-alliances. We notice when others are doing something that excludes us. It will trigger some primitive survival responses. People under 30 are still in the period when they are establishing their own lives, developing personal and professional identities, becoming economically viable (creating alliances), etc. Their focus will of necessity be social.
