Nothing will make me believe that children should be paid for exceptional grades. Gratifying grades should be expected of and necessary for the child to do well in life. Even if you teem with substandard grades you are still forced to go to school, so make the most of it rather than being forced to repeat grades and assignments. The only one affected by choosing to get poor grades in school is the student him/herself. Superior grades are easy to obtain as long as you pay attention, ask questions when you need to and turn in your assignments. If you think it'll help raise your scores in school and persuade students on the right track, reward them. Still, what is that teaching them? It's okay to pay people to do what you require? Or it's okay to blackmail others? When you pay a child for simply fulfilling their task of responsibility they will never know the meaning of the word. It is their obligation to go to school and do well. Just as it is the parent and teachers' duty to make sure they are learning to the fullest of their abilities. To show a child it is okay to pay someone off is wrong. Granted, yes, they desire the money and are willing to do the work for it, but they shouldn't have to be bribed in the first place. …show more content…

If students listen to what their teacher is telling them and follow along in class then they should do just fine. There is not a teacher out there who will just give you homework and say, "here do this." That would not be doing their job very well now, would it? Most students get distracted too easily. Elementary school students are usually passing notes, making each other laugh when the teacher turns around or just talking. Junior high kids like to talk and goof around or text in class and finally high schoolers are more apt to be on some social media website or playing games. Take the games, phones, and anything else distracting away and kids will get their work
