Some people have found a good amount of homework so that the students would become better at schools and home. Still, many people think that homework isn’t helpful. Elementary aged kids should not have the burden of doing homework like high school or middle school aged kids. Three reasons for this include the fact that homework gets done by the parents, it causes mental and physical health issues and it causes lack of social ability skills. These three things are just a few possibilities of what can happen when an elementary kid has homework.
I enjoy going home at the end of the day, but then I realize I have homework. I believe schools should NOT give homework. Teachers should realize we have enough work to do at home, we need time to ourselves, and homework stresses us out. This is why I think we kids should NOT have homework! When kids get home from school, they sometimes have to do chores.
Have you ever wanted to just shred up your homework or throw it out the window and have no consequences? I am still debating my thoughts on homework and I don’t believe in giving homework for homework’s sake. I believe in giving out 2-3 nights a week of homework that enhances what we are discussing in class and students are given the homework assignment at least every week so that they can plan their weeks in
