Everything in the story is fantastic either way though. The plot is so unique compared to all other shows in the drama/mystery genre. There are so many unexpected twists and turns that add to the story. Twists and turns meaning unexpected events occurring between characters or within the plot itself. Every episode tells a different story but at the same time the same story. Each episode has its own little plot but they all add something to the big plot. Even things that seem completely irrelevant within the story are actually used later on. That is one of the best things about this show, it keeps the viewer interacted throughout the story. In order to like a show, one must like some of the characters within the show. In Sherlock, every character is likeable to some aspect. There is a character for everyone in this show because of how different the characters are from each other. It is impossible for a person to not like at least one of the characters in this show. Some of the most known characters are Sherlock, Dr. Watson, Mycroft, Molly, Mary, and Moriarty. Sherlock is a detective who is very different from other people. Sherlock is very intelligent but also very strange. Strange meaning that he is socially weird as he insults and questions everyone and everything. There is no one else like Sherlock except for his brother Mycroft. Mycroft serves as somewhat of a father figure in the show. He gives Sherlock cases and every now and then assists him. The character that is closest to Sherlock is Dr. Watson. These two have an unbreakable bond throughout the show. They go on cases together and have each other’s back the whole way. All these characters are played by fantastic actors that really show the true potential of the character. The actors are really what make these characters’ shine, each role is filled perfectly. Honestly could anyone else play Sherlock other than Benedict Cumberbatch. All in all though, the characters and actors are what really add to this
