Being a new married couple is always exciting, sad, and definitely emotional, but of course you are going to go though that all when you're marrying the love of your life. Walking down that aisle with your dad and realizing your whole life is about to change, can be eye opening. They are many great reasons as to why people get married, such as: they surprise you for no reason, but only just to see a smile on your face, they listen to you when you talk, you miss them when they're gone, but you also can still live your life when they're away, too, you can see a future with them, you genuinely want them in your life, you love them as not just a lover, but as a person, you have similar interests and goals, they want the best for you, and they always lift you up, they're okay with helping you when you need a favor, they compliment, and most importantly they get along with your family. conceited girl. It was the beginning of her pregnancy where she expressed her self-satisfaction and daintiness in many silly ways with Connie. An example in the story is when they are over by the water hose standing together and talking secretly. Connie washes the tin cup and feels the water with his finger before he fills the cup again. Connie held out the cup to her saying,“This water ain’t cool, but it’s wet,” he said. She looked at him and smiled secretly. “I ain’t very thirsty,” she said daintily. “But maybe I ought to drink.” And he nodded, for he knew well what she meant. She took the cup and rinsed her mouth and spat and then drank the cupful of tepid water. “Want another?” he asked. “Jus’ a half.” And so he filled the cup just half,and gave it to her.
