I am applying to the University of Ottawa for admission to the Ph.D. program in Management. I am interested in entrepreneurship management, crowdsourcing, crowdfunding, reinforcement learning particularly in enabling the technology entrepreneurship process thrive. My strengths are my consistency, capacity for hard work, and my ability to work in a team. I have nurtured a strong passion to become a management scientist and pursue research. In the pursuit of Knowledge, I have always adopted a rigorous approach in order to attain an in-depth understanding of the subject at hand. Additionally, the problems in the technology entrepreneurship field have a concrete basis, originating from practical problems in management justified of an inter-disciplinary solution approach. In the last five years, I have been conducting research on business process transformation, crowdsourcing, crowdfunding, machine learning and reinforcement learning. During this time, I have collaborated with several researchers across the world. I realize how important it is, as a researcher, to interact with other people working in the same field, while at the same time working independently. With my long-term goal in mind, my immediate objective is to work towards a Ph.D. in Management. Having done my undergraduate and graduate studies at undoubtedly one of the best undergraduate institutions in Canada, I would consider it my privilege to be able to pursue my doctoral studies at the University of Ottawa and avail of the excellent infrastructure facilities and research opportunities it has to offer.
