Beauty means to gather in and around us what is pure, exquisite, right and proper. Real beauty is a reflection of an unspoiled heart and a tranquil soul. It is our transformation from the inferior to the superior and it emanates from us when we have the ability to see loveliness in everything around us including other people. It comes from our ability to always have the best intentions and it cannot be shared until it has been excavated from deep inside our souls where our ancient knowing resides. Beauty might open a door to people’s hearts, but other qualities are equally important. If a woman feels confident and is truly comfortable with herself then other people will also feel it and will value her for treasuring herself. Never set your price too low. The less you ask the less people will think you are worth. A woman with good communication skills has a big advantage over one who does not have them. The introduction of coffeehouses permitted the public to read The Spectator and embrace issues and arguments; which allowed it's readers to recognize problems and social issues. Melvyn brought up that conversation was how one learned politeness so that opposing people can meet on equal terms. As the civil war continued in politics, politeness became an attempt to making a difference in society and social life. It allowed people to speak to others regardless of rank and gender. He discusses how the growth of public space in coffeehouses was both a real place as well as a metaphorical one, which allowed opinion and publication so that people can read aloud and interact with others.
