Migraine is a common kind of headache disorder, causing severe throbbing pain or pulsing sensation, usually on only one side of the head. It often associates with nausea, vomiting and extreme sensitivity to light and sound (Mayo Clinic, 2017). According to WHO, nearly 30% of adults in the world are suffering from this sickness, which affects seriously both physical and mental health, working productivity, relationships and family life. However, because Migraine is episodic and does not lead to serious results in a short time, most sufferers tend to ignore, endure and self- treat instead of seeking appropriate treatments. That irrational solution leads to unfortunate consequences. As at first, people just have headaches one to two hours a day. They think that is normal and it will not last for a long time. Keeping that thought, people subconsciously prolong the illness for one, two months, or even years without seeing doctors. The result is, after a long time suffering, the amount of time they have headaches a day increases, from one or two hours to five, six hours. The pain also gets more intense. Moreover, Migraine patients tend to self- medicate rether than going to hospitals (WHO, 2016) because they do not acknowledge the severity of their illness.
