After finishing his residency in ophthalmology, Paul created an organization called Southern Kentucky Lions Eye clinic which assists disadvantaged persons needing eye surgeries and exams. The reason why 3rd party candidates don’t win in presidential elections is not because they are unqualified; it’s because the electoral system that we have in place creates enormous obstacles for them. While Amendments to the Construction have been made to insure equal opportunities and rights for all. Society still struggles to know how to respond to this issue. Another issue is health care. The almost unanimous support of the Senate gave affirmation to the the American people who were nationally united to face the threat of terrorism. An overwhelming majority voiced support for the legislation Congress drafted and decreed would solve the threat of terrorism at its roots. There was also overwhelming support for both President Bush and the compromise of cherished rights such as protection from unwarranted search and seizure. Bolt was born on August 21, 1986 in Trelawney, Jamaica to Jennifer and Wellesley Bolt who made ends meet by managing a grocery store where his brother, Sadeeki, sister, Shrine and Bolt helped at ("Usain Bolt Biography." It was a couple of sunny spring days in Washington DC. All of the cherry blossoms were glaring in the sun. When I traveled to Washington DC over last spring break it was a good time. I traveled to Virginia with my family, grandparents, and cousin. We stayed in one of our relative’s home in Virginia who was on vacation in Florida. We were amazed by all of the historic monuments across the whole city and along the Potomac River, as well as the history behind each monument and building. The most impactful spots in the city were the Lincoln Memorial with the waterway in the front, the Monuments representing historic people, and the Arlington National Cemetery.
