Did you know that without X-rays many people’s illnesses would go untreated, as well as undetected? Today, Radiology technicians are helping the health of individuals every day, they help diagnose conditions in order to save people’s lives. Although being a radiology technician can be sometimes stressful, the reward of knowing that you are helping save someone’s life is well worth it. Being a radiology technician can also be dangerous, due to the process of administering radiation, but the benefits of being able to know that you helped a person out ways all the negative factors of this career. The salaries differ in each state, In Texas, the salary is $59,000. The average radiologic tech salaries for job postings in Texas are 6% lower than average radiologic tech salaries for job postings nationwide.
