I believe that I am the best candidate for 9th grade honors classes in the Hillsborough High School. To begin, I am a respecting, and honorable person. When a student or teacher asks me to do something for them, I will always live up to it. I also rarely miss out on doing my homework. School is too important to be to not do great in a class because of homework. Giving respect to others is something all students have learned since the elementary school days. I try everyday to be as kind to people as possible, and make sure they never feel left out in any classes they have with me. Also, being honorable is an important skill to have as an advanced student and a classmate. Ever since I was young, I had a natural ability to be a leader because I enjoy seeing the finished product perfect. I normally take charge in group activities because when many people do not want to get work done, I strive to please teachers, and the rest of my class. In addition, I am an independent, and intelligent person. I prefer to work alone, so I am only responsible for what I do. I believe that being independent for most of my life has made me the intelligent person I am today. I know many people who are dependent on others and therefore do not care about anything. I also do not care what others think about me. I have friends who are not smart, and who make fun of me for always correcting what they say. I do not like when people act or ask ignorant questions, and I feel like they should want to act smarter than that.
