Recommended: Role of team leader in sports

All throughout my life I have played basketball, and my position has always been point guard. Point guard is also known as floor general and is often viewed as the most difficult position in basketball due to the responsibilities of leadership and being at the helm of the team. To command an offense in basketball requires communication, decisiveness, and confidence in what you are doing. Being a point guard for so long, these skills began to develop and seep into other aspects of my life whether it be assigning roles within a group book report or organizing a party with friends.
